Adam Goodman is an associate in the Litigation Department of Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz.

Mr. Goodman received a B.A. summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 2009. He received a J.D. magna cum laude from Harvard University in 2013, where he served as a notes editor of the Harvard Law Review.

Following law school, Mr. Goodman served as a law clerk to Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Justice David H. Souter of the United States Supreme Court, to Chief Judge Robert A. Katzmann of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and to Judge Jed S. Rakoff of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Mr. Goodman is a member of the Federal Bar Council’s Securities Litigation Committee. He is also a member of The Associates’ Committee, a grant foundation that supports legal aid and impact litigation nonprofit groups throughout the United States.

Mr. Goodman is admitted to practice in the State of New York, the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, and the United States Supreme Court.
