Heather D. Casteel is an associate in the Trusts & Estates practice at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz.  She advises high-net worth individuals and families on all aspects of estate and tax planning, estate and trust administration, and charitable gift planning.

Ms. Casteel graduated from Williams College in 2006 with a B.A. in mathematics cum laude.  She completed a J.D. magna cum laude from Harvard Law School in 2011, where she was an Editor-in-Chief of the Harvard Journal of Law & Technology.  Before joining Wachtell Lipton, Ms. Casteel clerked for the Honorable Edward R. Korman of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
