Kevin S. Cooper joined the Corporate Department at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz in 2011.  His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and corporate and securities laws matters, and has included domestic and cross-border transactions, securities offerings, corporate governance, proxy fights and takeover defense.  He has advised clients in a wide range of industries including energy, technology, media, telecommunications, private equity and financial services. 

Mr. Cooper received a B.S. summa cum laude and an M.B.A. from California State University, Fresno.  He graduated from Harvard Law School in 2011, where he received a J.D. magna cum laude and the Joshua Montgomery Sears, Jr. Prize.  Mr. Cooper was a founder and editor-in-chief of the Harvard Business Law Review.
