Avi A. Sutton
Avi A. Sutton joined Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz’s Corporate Department as an associate in 2013. He focuses on mergers and acquisitions, securities law matters, and corporate governance.
Mr. Sutton received a B.A. summa cum laude in Ethics, Politics & Economics from Yale University in 2010, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He completed his J.D. at Yale Law School in 2013, where he served as Managing Editor of the Yale Journal on Regulation, Senior Editor of the Yale Law & Policy Review, and co-President of the Yale Jewish Law Students Association. Mr. Sutton was also a summer law clerk to the Honorable Eliezer Rivlin, Deputy Chief Justice of the Israeli Supreme Court.
Mr. Sutton is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.
