Amanda K. Allexon
Amanda Kueter Allexon is counsel at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz.
Prior to joining the firm in 2013, Ms. Allexon was a senior counsel in the legal division at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. At the Board, Ms. Allexon’s primary responsibilities included the evaluation of merger and acquisition applications subject to review under the Bank Holding Company Act, Home Owners’ Loan Act, Bank Merger Act, Change in Control Act or Federal Reserve Act, and other applications and interpretive issues under these statutes. Ms. Allexon also was a primary Board contact for interpretive guidance regarding extensions of credit by banks to their insiders (Regulation O), regulation of holding companies (Regulation Y and LL), and matters related to the control of depository institutions and holding companies. Before joining the Board in 2004, Ms. Allexon served as the legislative assistant to Congressman James A. Leach for banking and other regulatory matters.
Ms. Allexon is licensed to practice in Illinois and New York.
