Joseph C. Celentino
Joseph Celentino is an Associate in Wachtell Lipton’s Restructuring and Finance Department.
Joseph has been recognized for his experience in bankruptcy and insolvency-related matters. Joseph was featured in INSOL International’s Young Members’ Spotlight in 2021 and has been named a “Rising Star” in business bankruptcies in the New York metropolitan area by Super Lawyers from 2020 to 2022.
Joseph received his B.A. cum laude in Communication Studies, Legal Studies, and Political Science from Northwestern University in 2013. He received his J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School in 2016, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and a Contributing Editor on the Michigan Law Review.
Prior to joining Wachtell Lipton, Joseph served as a law clerk to The Honorable Neil M. Gorsuch, then-judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
Joseph is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
