Martin J.E. Arms

Martin J.E. Arms is a retired partner and of counsel in the Litigation Department at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz. His practice is presently focused primarily on insurance, in particular representations and warranties insurance and directors and officers insurance. He also has extensive experience with respect to derivative and class action litigation, governmental investigations and regulatory matters, corporate governance and complex settlements.

Mr. Arms received a B.A. from Middlebury College in 1995, and a J.D. from The University of Chicago Law School in 1998, where he served as the editor-in-chief of The University of Chicago Law Review. From 1998 to 1999, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable W. Eugene Davis of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
