Rosemary Spaziani
Rosemary Spaziani is Of Counsel in Wachtell Lipton’s Corporate Department where she specializes in advising financial institutions on a broad range of corporate and regulatory matters, including in connection with mergers and acquisitions, enforcement actions, compliance and corporate governance matters.
Prior to joining the Firm, Ro served as global head of the bank regulatory, deposits and payments legal teams at Goldman Sachs. In such roles, she managed global bank regulatory matters and bank acquisitions, including the acquisition of the GE Capital deposit platform, Clarity Money and the US bank’s acquisition of its affiliated European bank. In addition, she led divisional legal coverage for its operational businesses, including the bank’s consumer deposit platform and the bank’s global institutional deposits and payments business. She regularly advised on the bank’s strategic initiatives and governance matters, including digital assets, cybersecurity regulations and enterprise risk considerations.
Ro received her J.D. from Columbia Law School and her B.A. from Bucknell University.
