Sakina J. Haji
Sakina J. Haji is an associate in Wachtell Lipton’s Restructuring and Finance Department.
Sakina received her J.D. with High Honors from the University of Chicago Law School, where she was an Articles Editor for The University of Chicago Law Review, elected Order of the Coif, and a recipient of the Joseph Henry Beale Prize and the Phil C. Neale Memorial Award. Sakina received her B.A. summa cum laude in Economics and Philosophy from Baylor University, where she was elected Phi Beta Kappa.
Prior to joining the Firm, Sakina clerked for the Honorable Kevin C. Newsom of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Sakina speaks Hindi, Gujarati and Urdu.
