Stephanie J. Seligman
Stephanie J. Seligman, elected Partner in 1990, is now of counsel in Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz’s Corporate Department. She focuses on mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, restructurings and securities law. Ms. Seligman has extensive experience in a broad variety of transactions involving major telecommunications companies, including acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, spin-offs and cross-border transactions. Her other experience includes transactions involving companies in numerous industries, such as real estate, natural resources and health care.
Ms. Seligman received her B.A. magna cum laude from Harvard College in 1977, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and her J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1982. She also has an M.A. in Economics from Harvard University. Prior to joining the firm, she was a law clerk to the Honorable Milton Pollack of the United States District Court Judge for the Southern District of New York.
Ms. Seligman has participated in panels on a number of topics, including mergers and acquisitions and restructurings.
