Justin R. Orr is Counsel in Wachtell Lipton’s Intellectual Property Department. His practice focuses on intellectual property and technology matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, IP and technology licensing and other complex transactions.

Justin received a B.A. in China & Asia Pacific Studies and in Government from Cornell University in 2008, where he graduated, magna cum laude, with distinction in all subjects, and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He received his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law in 2014, where he was a member of Order of the Coif and an editor of the Berkeley Technology Law Journal. Prior to attending law school, Justin worked as a risk consultant based in Beijing and Hong Kong.
