Intellectual Property

Wachtell Lipton’s intellectual property practice focuses primarily on supporting the firm’s leading mergers and acquisitions practice in light of the critical importance of intellectual property issues in the current environment. While our group has extensive experience representing companies at various stages of growth, from early start-ups to mature public companies, our practice primarily involves public company M&A and complex corporate carve-outs and spin-offs, as well as joint ventures, strategic alliances, licensing, and other strategic commercial agreements. We work closely with our corporate group and advise clients across a wide range of industries.
