Tijana Dvornic named Tax MVP for 2024 by Law360

Tijana Dvornic, a partner in Wachtell Lipton’s Tax Department, has been named a winner of Law360’s MVPs of the Year award in the Tax category.

Tijana’s practice focuses on the tax aspects of U.S. and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, leveraged buy-outs, joint ventures, and financing transactions.

In her interview with Law360, Tijana discusses her approach to complex tax issues and reflects on her recent achievements, including her role in the $20 billion combination of Smurfit Kappa Group with Westrock, which involved navigating complex U.S. anti-inversion rules.

Tijana has been also been recognized as one of the country’s five top tax lawyers under 40 by Law360, as one of the 500 leading dealmakers in America by Lawdragon in 2024 and 2025, and as one of the top two Tax lawyers in North America by MergerLinks in 2023.
