Ilene Knable Gotts a partner in Wachtell Lipton’s Antitrust department, has been recognized by Financier Worldwide as a 2025 Power Player in Merger Control.
Ilene is widely respected for her deep expertise in antitrust law. She has advised on some of the most significant transactions in recent years, including FIS/GTCR, Arconic/Apollo/Irenic Management, Zendesk/Permira and Hellman & Friedman, Salesforce/Mulesoft, and Charter/Time Warner Cable/Bright House.
Beyond her client work, Ilene has had approximately 250 articles published on antitrust related topics, served in leadership roles within the American Bar Association and New York State Bar Association, and is a long-standing member of the American Law Institute.
