Daniel R. Loeser

Daniel R. Loeser is Counsel in Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz’s Restructuring and Finance Department.

He advises borrowers, sponsors, financial institutions and credit investors on a broad range of complex financing transactions, including syndicated and direct lending facilities, high-yield and investment-grade debt offerings, asset-based financings and hybrid capital financings, particularly in connection with mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic capital structure transactions. He also advises borrowers and creditors in liability management transactions and distressed situations.

Dan received a J.D. from Columbia Law School where he was a James Kent Scholar, Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and a Submissions Editor of the Columbia Business Law Review.  He received a B.S. in Mathematics with a specialization in Economics from the University of Chicago, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He is admitted to practice in New York.
