Emma Sydney Stein is an associate in Wachtell Lipton’s Litigation Department.

Emma received her B.A. in English and Business Management from Columbia College at Columbia University, where she was a member of Order of Omega.  She received her J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she was a James Kent Scholar and Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.  While at CLS, she served as Submissions Editor of the Columbia Business Law Review.

After law school, Emma served as a law clerk to the Honorable Brian M. Cogan of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
