Aline R. Flodr
Aline R. Flodr is Counsel in Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz’s Litigation Department. Her practice focuses on the representation of large private and publicly traded companies, as well as their boards of directors and senior executives in connection with the defense of white-collar criminal, regulatory and complex civil litigation matters. She also regularly advises clients in connection with internal investigations, corporate governance, securities and compliance matters.
Before rejoining the firm, Ms. Flodr served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of New York for almost seven years, including four years as a senior member of the Criminal Division’s Public Corruption Unit. In that role, she investigated and prosecuted a wide range of financial and corruption-related matters, including campaign finance violations, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and domestic bribery violations, Foreign Agent Registration Act violations, bank fraud, tax evasion, money laundering, and asset forfeiture. During her time at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, she was honored with several awards, including the FinCEN Director’s Law Enforcement Award.
Prior to becoming a prosecutor, Ms. Flodr was a litigation associate at Wachtell Lipton. Ms. Flodr began her legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Eduardo C. Robreno of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and as a law clerk to the Honorable Maryanne Trump Barry of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Ms. Flodr received an A.B. summa cum laude from Harvard College in 2007, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and a J.D. from Yale Law School in 2011. While at Yale, Ms. Flodr was an articles editor of the Yale Law Journal.
