Amanda Sanches de Souza is a visiting attorney in Wachtell Lipton’s Litigation Department.

Prior to joining the firm, Amanda worked in the Litigation department of E. Munhoz Advogados in São Paulo, Brazil. She has significant experience in high-stakes corporate litigation, commercial arbitration, and financial restructuring. Her litigation work includes drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, and preparing legal opinions in complex disputes involving shareholder claims, regulatory investigations, and fiduciary breaches. In arbitration, she has contributed to cross-border proceedings concerning control of major industrial assets. She also has expertise negotiating and drafting large-scale restructuring agreements between corporate conglomerates and financial institutions, navigating both private and public sector interests.

Amanda received her LL.M. from Stanford Law School She received her LL.B. from the University of São Paulo Law School.
