Bapu Kotapati is an associate in Wachtell Lipton’s Litigation Department.

Bapu received his J.D. from Yale Law School, where he served as Executive Editor of the Yale Law Journal and Submissions Editor of the Yale Journal on Regulation. He earned his B.A. summa cum laude in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he received Highest Departmental Honors, the Sarvey Prize, and the Michaels Award for Leadership in Public Service. He studied at the University of Cambridge as a Pembroke-King’s 1976 Scholar.

Before joining the Firm, Bapu served as a law clerk to the Honorable Judith W. Rogers of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
