Sophie C. Skinner is an associate in Wachtell Lipton’s Restructuring and Finance Department.

Sophie received her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, where she graduated magna cum laude and was a member of the Order of the Coif. In law school, Sophie received the Saul L. Nadler Memorial Award for outstanding work in courses related to commercial and corporate law; the American Bankruptcy Law Journal Student Prize; and Certificate of Merit awards in Securities Regulation, Jurisdiction and Choice of Law, and Introduction to the Income Taxation of Business Enterprise. Sophie received her B.A. in Religion from Oberlin College.
