Cain, Veblen, Goldfeld & Sobolewski contribute to the Chambers Private Equity 2024 Global Practice Guide

Karessa Cain, Mark Veblen, Victor Goldfeld and John Sobolewski authored the Trends and Developments section in the 2024 edition of the Chambers and Partners Private Equity Global Practice Guide.

In their chapter, they note that private equity (PE) investors and dealmakers have faced headwinds since the COVID-era boom of 2021. These challenges include higher interest rates, persistent inflation, widely divergent valuation expectations, market and geopolitical upheavals, and heightened regulatory scrutiny. 2024 has so far presented a continuation of many of these challenges.
