Eric Feinstein named “Rising Star” by New York Law Journal

Eric Feinstein, a Partner in Wachtell Lipton’s Corporate Department, has been named a “Rising Star” for 2025 by New York Law Journal.

Eric advises on high-profile domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs, and governance matters across a wide range of industries. He has also distinguished himself as the trusted legal architect behind some of the most innovative and complex transactions in professional sports.

His recent work includes representing clients such as FIS, Perrigo Company and Royal Bank of Canada. In the sports sector, he has notably advised:

  • Bill Chisholm and his investor group in the $6.1 billion purchase of the Boston Celtics.
  • Marc Lore and Alex Rodriguez on their $1.5 billion acquisition of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx.
