Randall Jackson Honored as a Leading Trial Lawyer by Financier Worldwide
Randall Jackson, a partner in Wachtell Lipton’s Litigation department, has been honored by Financier Worldwide as a Distinguished Advisor on its 2025 Trial Lawyers list.
Randall specializes in investigations, white-collar criminal defense, and complex civil litigation. He has served as lead or co-lead counsel in over 20 federal trials and has successfully handled high-stakes litigation in state courts, including merger-related disputes. In 2022, he co-led the defense team that secured a full acquittal for Thomas Barrack in a high-profile federal foreign lobbying case.
Prior to joining private practice, Randall was an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of New York (2007–2015), where he led global investigations and prosecutions, including the six-month jury trial of senior executives at Madoff Securities.
He is a recipient of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Distinguished Service Award and the John Marshall Award. Randall is ranked by Chambers USA in Litigation: White-Collar Crime & Government Investigations and recognized as a “Litigation Star” by Benchmark Litigation.
