Mr. Cooper in its transfer of certain intellectual property rights to Mr. Cooper’s cloud-based technology platform for mortgage servicing to Sagent M&C, in exchange for a minority stake in Sagent

On February 11, 2022, Mr. Cooper Group Inc. announced the signing of a definitive agreement to transfer certain intellectual property rights related to Mr. Cooper’s proprietary, cloud-based technology platform for mortgage servicing to Sagent M&C, LLC for an equity stake in Sagent.  Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz served as legal advisor to Mr. Cooper Group.
