Chesapeake Energy Corporation in its $11 billion merger with Southwestern Energy Company

On January 11, 2024, Chesapeake Energy Corporation (NASDAQ:CHK) and Southwestern Energy Company (NYSE:SWN) announced that they have entered into an agreement to merge in an all-stock transaction valued at $11 billion.
