Elina Tetelbaum Honored as a 2025 Power Player in Shareholder Activism
Elina Tetelbaum, a partner in Wachtell Lipton’s Corporate department and head of the firm’s shareholder engagement and activism defense practice, has been recognized by Financier Worldwide as a 2025 Power Player in Mergers & Acquisitions.
Lina is widely respected for her leadership in shareholder activism defense, corporate governance, crisis management, and complex M&A transactions. She has played a pivotal role in some of the most high-profile and challenging deals in recent years, including Allergan’s $83 billion acquisition by AbbVie, Forest Laboratories, Inc. in its $28 billion acquisition by Actavis plc., and Kansas City Southern’s $31 billion acquisition by Canadian Pacific Railway.
