Anne Frank House in connection with Anne Frank The Exhibition at the Griffin Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago

On February 26, 2026, Chicago’s Griffin Museum of Science and Industry announced that it will be the Midwest host of Anne Frank The Exhibition, opening May 1, 2026.  A presentation of the Anne Frank House, the exhibition offers a pioneering experience outside Amsterdam, immersing visitors in a full-scale, fully furnished re-creation of the Secret Annex where Anne Frank, her parents and sister, and four other Jewish refugees spent two years hiding to evade Nazi capture.  The Chicago exhibition features more than 130 original artifacts from the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam — many of which have never before been seen by the public.

Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz is serving as legal advisor to the Anne Frank House on a pro bono basis.
