The Carlyle Group in the sale of the U.S. commercial insurance division of its portfolio company, NSM Insurance Group, to New Mountain Capital

On February 24, 2025, The Carlyle Group announced that its portfolio company, NSM Insurance Group, a global specialty insurance provider, entered into a definitive agreement to sell its U.S. commercial insurance division to New Mountain Capital.

Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz is serving as legal advisor to Carlyle and NSM Insurance Group.
