Warburg Pincus in its acquisition of ECN Capital

On November 13, 2025, ECN Capital Corp. (TSX: ECN) announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by an investor group led by Warburg Pincus.  The all-cash transaction values ECN Capital at an enterprise value of approximately C$1.9 billion.  The transaction will be implemented by way of a statutory plan of arrangement under the Business Corporations Act (Ontario).
