Two partners named as Finalists in the American Lawyer Industry Awards for 2023
Litigation Partner, Bill Savitt, was selected as a finalist for the “Litigator of the Year” award. Serving as the co-chair of the Litigation Department, Bill is a recognized authority on multi-jurisdictional corporate litigation.
He has played a leading role in corporate governance and mergers-and-acquisitions litigation in courts around the country, including numerous corporate merger and class-action fiduciary challenges and is widely seen as a leader in the field.
Corporate Partner, Jake Kling, has been named a finalist for the “Young Lawyer of the Year—Corporate” award. Jake led more than a dozen M&A transactions in 2022, including four above $10 billion. Most notably, he led Adobe’s $20 billion acquisition of Figma, the largest private tech acquisition in history.
Winners will be announced on November 15, 2023.
