FIS in its cooperation agreement with the D. E. Shaw group

December 15, 2022

On December 15, 2022, FIS announced that its incoming Chief Executive Officer, Stephanie L. Ferris, and Board of Directors have initiated a comprehensive assessment of the Company’s strategy, businesses, operations and structure, implemented board enhancements to oversee continued growth and transformation, entered into a cooperation agreement with the D. E. Shaw group and had supportive discussions with JANA Partners.
