Barnes Group Inc. in its cooperation agreement with Irenic Capital Management LP

On March 5, 2024, Barnes Group Inc. (NYSE: B) announced, among other things, it has entered into a cooperation agreement with Irenic Capital Management LP.  As part of the cooperation agreement, Barnes appointed Adam Katz to its Board and is engaging Larry Lawson to serve as a Special Advisor.  Barnes has also agreed to work with Irenic to identify an additional mutually agreed upon independent director.
