Public Storage in its $2.2 billion acquisition of Simply Self Storage from Blackstone Real Estate Income Trust

On July 24, 2023, Public Storage (NYSE:PSA) and Blackstone Real Estate Income Trust, Inc. (“BREIT”) announced an agreement for Public Storage to acquire Simply Self Storage from BREIT for $2.2 billion.
