United Community Banks in its merger with First Miami Bancorp

On February 13th, 2023, United Community Banks, Inc. (NASDAQ: UCBI) and First Miami Bancorp, Inc. (OTC: FMIA) announced the execution of a definitive merger agreement pursuant to which United will acquire First Miami, and its wholly-owned subsidiary, First National Bank of South Miami, in an all-stock transaction with an aggregate value of approximately $116 million.
