FIS in the planned spin-off of its Merchant Business

On February 13th, 2023, FIS® (NYSE: FIS) announced plans to pursue a tax-free spin-off its Merchant Solutions business to strengthen its strategic and operational focus, capitalize on growth opportunities and unlock shareholder value. The Merchant Solutions business, which will operate under the Worldpay brand, is the largest global merchant acquiror by transactions.
