Black Knight in the sale of its Empower loan origination system business to Constellation Software
On March 7, 2023, Black Knight, Inc. (NYSE: BKI) announced that, in connection with efforts to secure regulatory clearance of the previously announced acquisition of Black Knight by Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (NYSE: ICE), it has agreed to sell Black Knightâs Empower loan origination system (LOS) business, including its Exchange, LendingSpace and AIVA solutions, to a subsidiary of Constellation Software Inc. (TSX: CSU).
Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz is serving as legal advisor to Black Knight. Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz is also serving as legal advisor to Black Knight in connection with its pending $11.7 billion sale to ICE.
