Wachtell Lipton awarded M&A Deal of the Year and Restructuring Deal of the Year by Latin Lawyer
We are pleased to announce that we have been the recipient of two Deal of the Year awards by Latin Lawyer at its 17th annual Deal of the Year Awards at a charity dinner in São Paulo on May 11th.
M&A Deal of the Year
Together with Mijares, Angoitia, Cortes y Fuentes, S.C., our representation of Grupo Televisa in the $4.8 billion combination of its content business with Univision was awarded the M&A Deal of the Year. Through this transaction, Televisa’s content and media assets were combined with Univision to create the largest Spanish language media company in the world: TelevisaUnivision.
