Capri Holdings in its $1.375 billion sale of Versace to Prada

On April 10, 2025, Capri Holdings Limited (NYSE: CPRI), a global fashion luxury group, announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to sell Versace to Prada S.p.A. for $1.375 billion in cash.  Founded in 1978 in Milan, Versace is one of the leading international fashion design houses and the epitome of Italian luxury worldwide.
