OpenGov in its $1.8 billion acquisition by Cox Enterprises

On February 27, 2024, OpenGov, Inc., the leader in modern cloud software for American cities, counties and state agencies, announced a majority acquisition by Cox Enterprises, valuing OpenGov at $1.8 billion.  As a result of the transaction, OpenGov will be owned by Cox Enterprises and employees of OpenGov, including co-founder and CEO Zac Bookman.
