Barnes Group in its $3.6 billion acquisition by Apollo Global Management

On October 7, 2024, Barnes Group Inc. (NYSE: B), a global provider of highly engineered products, differentiated industrial technologies and innovative solutions, announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management, Inc. for $47.50 per share in cash.  The transaction values Barnes Group at an enterprise value of approximately $3.6 billion.
