Global Payments in the $1.1 billion sale of its Payroll business to Acrisure

On May 28, 2025, Global Payments Inc. (NYSE: GPN), a leading worldwide provider of payment technology and software solutions, announced that it had entered into a definitive agreement to sell its Payroll business to Acrisure, LLC, a financial technology and insurance company, for total consideration of $1.1 billion in cash.
