International Paper in its separation into two independent, publicly traded companies

On January 29, 2026, International Paper (NYSE: IP; LSE: IPC), a leader in sustainable packaging solutions, announced its plan to create two independent, publicly traded companies: International Paper, which will be comprised of its current business in North America, and the EMEA Packaging business.  The new company is expected to be listed on both the London Stock Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange.
