OpenAI in its acquisition of Software Applications Inc.

On October 23, 2025, OpenAI announced its acquisition of Software Applications Incorporated, the maker of Sky, a natural language interface for the Mac that assists users by understanding the content on their screen and using applications to perform tasks.
