OpenAI in its acquisition of Statsig

On September 2, 2025, OpenAI announced an agreement to acquire Statsig, Inc., an experimentation platform that powers A/B testing, feature flagging, and real-time decisioning for the world’s most innovative companies.  Upon closing, Statsig’s founder, Vijaye Raji, will become OpenAI’s Chief Technology Officer of Applications.
